| Important information | Please be around 3:50 pm at the "East-Side-Galerie / Ostbahnhof" pier (approx. 7 minutes' walk from the Ostbahnhof S-Bahn station). If you arrive later, you are NOT guaranteed to be taken at the booked departure time. Access is via the East Side Gallery, Mühlendammstrasse 60, 10243 Berlin. The ship docks around 4:00 p.m. Please have a valid ticket ready. Requirement for a ride: FFP2 or medical mask, negative corona test certificate (max. 24 hours old) or complete proof of vaccination or proof of recovery. EAST-SIDE-TOUR - section from the jetty: “East-Side-Gallery / Ostbahnhof”. Boarded the MV “Belvedere” at around 4:00 p.m. The passage through the East-Side-Gallery is at the Mühlendamm 60 residential building, in 10243 Berlin, near the Ostbahnhof S-Bahn station. The tour begins in the shadow of the East Side Gallery and leads west through the center of Berlin. After the "cradle of Berlin", the Mühlendammschleuse, the ship glides past the Nikolaiviertel, the construction site for the new Stadtschloß / Humboldtforum and the Berlin Cathedral. This is where the Museum Island, the world cultural heritage site of Berlin, begins. From the water you can see the Pergamon, Bode and the New Museum as well as the Old National Gallery. The government district connects seamlessly with the parliament buildings of the Bundestag, the German Reichstag, ministries and the Federal Chancellery. After another turn in front of Bellevue Palace, it goes back to the "Alte Börse / Hackescher Markt" jetty. 75 min pure relaxation, with expert explanations in German and English.
